Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors interested in submitting an article, interview, or book review to the Design, Technology and Society Journal should register as authors in the journal's system (periodicos.unb.br/index.php/revista-design-technology) and follow the system instructions to complete the submission process.

Authors must follow the Guidelines for Submitting and Formatting Articles. The editable template for the guidelines is available in downloadable DOCX format.

Papers may be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

Submission is free.

  1. The contribution is original and unpublished, and it is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; Otherwise, this should be justified at the "Comments to the editor".
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
  3. The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described at the Guidelines for Authors, on the “About Journal” page.
  4. In the case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (e.g. articles), the instructions available under Ensuring Blind Peer Evaluation were followed.
