Abstract

This essay deals with the question of the genius in the work of some of the greater German philosophers: Kant and Nietzsche, as well as with the passage of one to the other, in-termediated by Hegel and Schopenhauer. It will focus on the "Critique of judgment", "Human, all too human", "Dawn" and the fragments of Nietzsche, also in "The world as will and representation", of Schopenhauer and the "Course on Aesthe-tics", from Hegel. "The Fragments of the Atheneum", by F. Schlegel and others, will also be used in the discussion of the subject of the genius.
