Abstract

This work intends to reflect on the nature of time from the concepts listed by Newton and within the cinematics of moving references addressed in Einstein’s special relativity. To this end, we explored the thought experiments proposed in his original work from 1905. Since Einstein uses the clock as a fundamental tool in his analysis, we seek to bring the origin of the clock to
understand what is recorded as time and finally we analyze this record. to understand how the dilation of time can guide us in what is understood as time itself
