Abstract

The objective of the study was to empirically identify the role of team leadership and organizational support for the success of a Project. A quantitative questionnaire was applied inside the organization by the use of a internal mail list. The objective being to evaluate how these actors influence the success of AIESEC projects in Brazil. In total, 103 responses were obtained from members of 99 projects teams. The data gathered was analyzed according to univariate data techniques. As a result, team leadership was perceived by most project members as being present in their direct leader and in the actions of their team. Organizational support was also identified as positive in AIESEC in Brazil, but the evolution of the training model was necessary. Finally, it was found that team leadership and organizational support influenced the success of the projects.
