Abstract

This paperwork investigates the thermal performance of the superficial materials that composes the urban context of Industries and Supply Sector (Setor de Indústrias e Abastecimento) - SIA in Brasília - DF, analysing its influence in the environment. The choice of the area of study was given by the diversification of usage that the region presents, its initial destination passed through many changes until the final urban project executed at the locality. For that matter, the aim of this article is to contribute with the studies that helps the susteinable urban development, since the accelerated process of disorderly growth of cities causes environmental urban problems. In view of the above, the working method is susteined by the spcialized bibliography, I'm the observance of superficial temperatures using orbital images from Landsat 8 satellite, and finally in the realization of computational simulations with ENVI-MET, version 4.3.2 software, using PMV ”“ Predicted Medium Vote of Fanger (1970) thermal comfort index, assuming, for this study, the hot-dry period. For that, points with different W/H relations, following classification by Romero (2011), were selected at SIA. As a result, is highlighted the evidence of distinct microclimate, depending on the confirmation of usage and ocupation of the soil in the area of study, and thus it was possible to conclude in front of the comparative analysis from the clippings of the area, that the superficial materials and vegetation, contributes in a concrete way to offer climate benefits to the local microclimate.
