Método Expedito para análise da qualidade ambiental em zonas ripárias urbanas

Abstract

Since the establishment of the first cities, the riverbanks have been widely incorporated in the production of urban space. As a contribution towards a possible reversal of negative impacts of urbanization on these areas, we are developing a rapid method to analyze environmental quality in urban riparian zones. So far, we have defined a set of interdisciplinary variables and criteria and have simulated the collection of data in two rivers in distinct cities. As a result, we identified problems in the data collection procedure and proposed changes in the criteria used to analyze the river-riparian system.
